'Fragmented' is an ongoing experimental approach to examining abstraction with abstracted letterforms. This poster series turned out to be two-fold: a way to seek inspiration with visual typographic layouts while responding to Women's Equality day in an original and abstract arrangement.
Here, I created abstract patterns using the word "WOMEN" from the typeface, Bitter by Sol Matas as the base before I spliced them and rearranged the layout to create an intense yet aesthetic composition. This experiment shows that visual communication can be something other than client-related. These series was featured as Honorable Mention in Graphis NY Poster Annual 2024.
