I had the opportunity to design this book cover called written by Scott Gould. It’s a dovetail that depicts a fast-moving, comic story of longing and redemption, one that flips a number of Southern clichés on their ears. This comedy explores the effects of grief, homophobia, revenge, love and loss on a cast of contemporary characters in a small Southern town.
This wasn’t lucky in the batch, but I was glad to have had the opportunity to explore more of my hand-lettering concepts.
